I’m delighted to have secured up to £20 million of long-term funding over the next 10 years from the UK Labour Government. This funding is specifically for the Tudno and Mostyn wards which make up the new Pride in Place neighbourhood.
It will now be up to local people living in the Pride in Place neighbourhood to decide what changes they want to see in their community and how this investment is used. Not politicians, not council officers – people living in Tudno and Mostyn who understand what the challenges are and how this money could best make a difference.
To help guide the process, we are looking for an Independent Chair for the new Pride in Place Neighbourhood Board.
This is a real chance for someone local to step forward and help shape the future of the area by putting local people in the driving seat.
The new Board will help lead that work, making sure local voices are heard and that decisions reflect the priorities of the community in Tudno and Mostyn wards.
If you are someone who:
- Believes in this community
- Can help bring people together
- Is excited by the opportunity to create a lasting change
